Our projects...

The Hodaie lab focuses primarily on structural MRI imaging in functional neurosurgery with a special interest in neuropathic pain.

Projects also exist in international neurosurgical education to strengthen neurosurgical capacity in low and middle-income countries.

Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness Day

Trigeminal neuralgia (TN) is a pain disorder affecting the face. Patients with TN generally have normal sensation in the face, but they also experience random episodes of extremely severe pain. Because of its resemblance to dental-related pain, TN is often under-detected and results in delay in diagnosis. This further prevents patients from receiving timely treatments.

Please click here for more information about TN.

On October 7th, International Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness day, the CN tower and the Toronto sign will be lit up in teal to promote awareness.

Please visit TNnME for more details.
